At Thando, we respect your right to control your personal data.
You may request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

1. How to Request Account Deletion

You can request deletion directly from within the app under:
Profile → Delete Account

Alternatively, you may send an email to: thandoapp@gmail.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request”.

2. What Happens When Your Account is Deleted

Your profile, login information, and personal data will be permanently removed from our systems.

Certain information may be retained for legal, regulatory, or security reasons (e.g. fraud prevention).

Once deleted, your account cannot be restored.

3. Timeline for Deletion

Account deletion requests are usually processed within few business days.

You will receive confirmation once the deletion is complete.

4. Data That May Be Retained

We may retain limited data as required by law, including but not limited to:

Payment or transaction records (for taxation or regulatory purposes).

Security logs to prevent fraud or abuse.
